By Raúl Gorrín.- Daily life, business and professional issues have gone from analog to digital. Technological advances have been transforming all systems and have surrounded us with devices and processes that only respond to the new criteria that have been imposed on society and industry. No matter how advantageous the old analogue systems have been, they are now only a thing of the past and should be added to what technology imposes today and don’t talk about the times to come!
It is something that we should raise awareness and accepts that the world is changing and we can’t be left behind. We should change with the world! The technology gives more flexibility and possibilities to the processes that the old analog systems didn’t allow. Clear examples in this regard are photography and video. Digital cameras offer possibilities that were previously impossible or, at least, very difficult to achieve. Digital video recordings offer better performance, not to mention the storage advantages that both now offer and that under the analog system simply couldn’t be achieved.
Another thing is sound, many refuse to abandon the fidelity offered by the analog format, but it is undeniable that the digital sound advances. In the same way, we have the changes that the telephony has experienced when moving from the analog to the digital. They are transformations that today are in the hands of all those who operate a cell phone. The few cases of use of analogue telephones are confined to digital communication systems that rely on basic analog connectivity.
Moreover, digitization is found in the streets when we observe traffic lights that no longer operate with old analog systems. As can be seen, digitization is a daily reality and more uses are added. This doesn’t mean that the completion of the analogue systems will be experienced at once and will continue to be in force for some time and as technological advances are being experimented, they will give way to an absolutely digital world.
