This discipline seeks to apply principles of the behavior of the human being in the individual and group sphere, to apply them in the solution of problems that take place in the organizations. The specialists conduct their knowledge and formation to the establishment of the best relations between the members of the companies and to clarify situations, confusions and to solve the different inconveniences that are seen in the company.
Organizational psychologists think about attitudes, career development, decision making, performance and human factors. Also, the study of the consumer behavior is part of the organizational work psychology. A specialty of this discipline is industrial-organizational psychology, which aims at ethical considerations, written law, administrative and executive cases and policies in relation to activities in the place of work.
Organizational industrial psychology deals with issues such as recruitment and selection of personnel, training and workers. Also, they measure the performance, motivation, and reward system of the company. They monitor the quality of work life, the structure of work, human factors, organizational development and consumer behavior. The work that the psychologists develop in the companies and enterprises in the area of human resources is directed to the design, execution and interpretation of the investigation in psychology to apply them in the resolution of the problems.
